The goals of Bethel’s Afro-Caribbean Group are contributing to the enrichment of the worship experience at Bethel, and providing care and support for the members. The group consists of about 40 adults from 14 countries across the two regions.
The group’s activities include:
- The Afro-Caribbean Harvest and Praise Service, our biggest event of the year, is held at the end of November each year, and is celebrated with our entire Bethel family.
- Monthly prayer teleconferencemeetings held from 8:00 to 9:00 AM on the third Saturday of every month, focus on intercession for the group, for Bethel, for members’ needs, and so on.
- Quarterly face-to-face meetings, are held after Sunday services. These meetings focus on providing updates, meeting new members, disseminating information, receiving feedback, and making important group decisions.
- Ongoing supportis offered to members who experience significant life events, including those who give birth, lose loved ones, or marry.
