Joy Hemler

Life Pastor

It is my joy and honor to serve as Bethel’s Life Pastor, a role for which God has given me life-long training.  This church has been our “home” for 34  years, where my husband, Pat, and I have raised and successfully launched our three young adult children.  We have also served in many and various leadership capacities in both the church and at BCA throughout the years.

Pat and I enjoy spending time with each other and with our growing family, especially our two new grandbabies.   We also love to travel abroad to experience new and interesting places, foods, and adventures.  Hiking, biking, flower gardening, sunrises at the beach, mystery shows, and tea with friends are some of my other favorites.

I am an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and hold a BA in Education, and an MA in Family and Marriage Counseling.  These all assist in fulfilling my calling and responsibilities at Bethel, which include development and oversight of discipleship through D3 Groups, providing pastoral counseling to adults, youth, and children, and helping people connect in various ways within the Body of Christ.

What can I do for you?  How can I help you grow spiritually, and get connected to others in this place we call “home?”
