Joy Hemler
It is my honor to serve as Bethel’s Life Pastor, a role for which God has given me life-long training. This church has been our “home” for many years, where my husband, Pat, and I have raised and launched our three young adult children. Throughout the years, we have served in many and various capacities in both the church and at BCA.
Pat and I enjoy spending time with each other and with our growing family, especially our grandchildren. We enjoy traveling abroad to experience new and interesting places, foods, and adventures. Hiking, biking, flower gardening, Belgian chocolate, sunrises at the beach, mystery shows, and tea with friends are some of my favorites.
I am an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and hold a BA of Education, and an MA in Family and Marriage Counseling. These assist in fulfilling my calling at Bethel which includes development and oversight of discipleship through D3 Groups, facilitating the Welcome Home ministries, and helping people connect in various ways within the Body of Christ.
